New drug tested for severe skin rash and itch

Summary

This study tested a new drug called camoteskimab for adults with moderate to severe eczema (atopic dermatitis). For the first 16 weeks, some participants received the drug and others received a placebo, then everyone received the drug. The main goal was to see if the drug safely reduced the severity and area of the skin rash and improved itching.
