See the plaque, stop the decay: camera shows kids & parents the truth about brushing
NCT ID NCT07327060
Summary
This study is testing if using a small camera inside a child's mouth to show parents and kids plaque and brushing mistakes is more effective than standard verbal instructions. It involves 40 children aged 5-7 and their parents, who are randomly assigned to receive either the camera-assisted education or traditional talk-based training. The goal is to see if this visual feedback leads to cleaner teeth, healthier gums, and more knowledgeable parents one month later.
