Phone app aims to track ankle recovery
NCT ID NCT07197593
Summary
This study is testing how well a smartphone app can measure calf muscle strength in people recovering from two common ankle injuries: lateral ankle sprains and Achilles tendon ruptures. Researchers will compare results from 70 patients to those of healthy individuals to see if the app can reliably detect strength differences. The goal is to provide doctors and therapists with a better, more accessible tool to monitor rehabilitation progress.
