Summary

This study tested whether a drug called Tildacerfont could safely reduce the high doses of steroid medications that adults with classic congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH) need to take. About 100 participants were randomly assigned to receive either the study drug or a placebo for 24 weeks, followed by an optional longer-term extension. The main goal was to see if patients could lower their steroid doses to healthier levels while still controlling their hormone imbalance.
