Summary

This study tested whether low doses of caffeine and taurine, taken together, improve physical and mental performance more than either alone. Thirty-two healthy, trained men completed exercise and thinking tasks after taking caffeine, taurine, both, or a placebo. The goal was to see if the combination works better for short bursts of activity, strength, and focus.
