Summary

This study is testing whether chewing caffeinated gum can help shot put athletes throw farther. It involves about 18 trained throwers who will try both the caffeinated gum and a placebo gum in a random order. Researchers will measure their throwing distance, heart rate, and saliva to see if the caffeine provides a performance boost.
