First seen Apr 11, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looked at whether caffeine improves performance in elite weightlifters. Fourteen experienced athletes took part in a simulated competition after consuming caffeine. The results showed a slight improvement in some measures, but the effect was modest. Caffeine may offer a small edge, but it's not a magic solution for winning.
