Scientists launch hunt to unravel mysteries of rare 'Bent Finger' disease

NCT ID NCT07468461

Summary

This study aims to gather detailed information about CACP syndrome, a very rare genetic disorder that causes bent fingers, stiff joints, hip problems, and sometimes heart inflammation in children. Researchers will collect health data from about 15 children across Europe to better describe the disease, track how it changes over time, and see how different treatments help manage symptoms. The goal is to improve future care by understanding this poorly known condition.
