Does an emergency C-Section raise depression risk? a massive study investigates
NCT ID NCT07359170
Summary
This study aims to understand if the type of delivery—specifically, whether a C-section was planned or an emergency—is linked to early postpartum depression symptoms. Researchers will look back at the health records of 4,000 women who gave birth to compare their depression screening scores. No new treatments are being tested; this is purely an analysis of past information to find patterns and associations.
