Does a faster C-Section mean a healthier baby? new study investigates

NCT ID NCT07321041

Summary

This study aims to understand if the time between the start of a planned C-section and the baby's delivery affects the baby's immediate health, as measured by a standard blood test. Researchers will observe 100 women having planned C-sections under two common types of anesthesia. They will record the delivery time and check the baby's umbilical cord blood to see if there's a link.
