Leukemia relapse clues: new study eyes c-Kit mutations

NCT ID NCT06116318

First seen May 16, 2026 ยท Last updated May 16, 2026

Summary

This study aimed to see if measuring a specific gene change (c-Kit mutation) in blood or bone marrow could help predict if acute myeloid leukemia (AML) will come back after treatment. Researchers planned to follow AML patients with this mutation and compare the new test with standard monitoring methods. However, the study was withdrawn before enrolling any participants, so no results are available.
