New vaccine aims to stop dangerous diarrhea germ
NCT ID NCT05805826
Summary
This study is testing new versions of a vaccine designed to prevent severe diarrhea caused by the C. diff bacteria. It will involve about 936 healthy adults, primarily aged 65 and older, to see if the new vaccine formulas are safe and help the body build protective defenses as well as an older version. The research will last up to 6 years for some participants to check how long the protection might last.
