Summary

This study follows 100 hospitalized adults with Clostridioides difficile infection to learn how the bacteria clears from the body over time. Researchers will also examine gut bacteria and immune responses to find out why infections often come back. The goal is to improve prevention and treatment for this serious digestive infection.
