New stent offers Surgery-Free fix for failed Weight-Loss surgery

NCT ID NCT05640947

Summary

This study is testing whether a small, flexible tube (stent) placed during a camera procedure can effectively reverse a gastric bypass, offering a less invasive alternative to major surgery. It aims to help patients who are experiencing serious complications from their original weight-loss surgery, such as severe low blood sugar, liver problems, or an inability to eat properly. The goal is to see if this stent can control these complications and improve patients' health without the need for another operation.
