New stroke drug aims to cut disability when given within 3 hours

Summary

This study tests an injection called BXOS110 for people who have had a stroke caused by a blocked blood vessel in the brain. The goal is to see if the drug reduces long-term disability when given within 3 hours of the stroke. About 1,112 adults aged 18 to 85 with moderate to severe stroke symptoms are taking part. Half will get the drug, half a placebo, and recovery will be measured 90 days later.
