NCT ID NCT07164833
Summary
This study is testing whether a new drug called BX-001N can prevent kidney injury in patients undergoing major heart surgery. About 40 participants having aortic surgery will receive either the drug or a placebo through an IV before and after their operation. Researchers will track their kidney health for 90 days to see if the treatment reduces complications.
