New drug trial aims to tame rare swelling disorder
NCT ID NCT06846398
Summary
This study is testing an investigational drug called BW-20805 to see if it can safely reduce the number of swelling attacks in adults with hereditary angioedema (HAE). Researchers will measure how much the monthly attack rate decreases over about 6 months of treatment. The trial will also monitor side effects for up to 96 weeks to understand the drug's long-term safety.
