New combo pill aims to stop pesky vaginal infection from coming back
NCT ID NCT07483671
Summary
This study aims to see if adding a new oral capsule called BPR-101 to a standard antibiotic (metronidazole) can help prevent bacterial vaginosis (BV) from recurring. It will involve about 80 women aged 18-50 who have been diagnosed with BV. The trial will compare the new combination against the standard treatment plus a placebo to see which is better at keeping the infection from coming back.
