First seen Apr 21, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tests whether a traditional Chinese herbal formula (Bushen Yiqi) combined with the hormone DHEA can improve ovarian function in women with diminished ovarian reserve (low egg supply). 74 women aged 20-40 will receive either the herbal formula plus DHEA or a placebo plus DHEA for 12 weeks. Researchers will measure hormone levels and egg counts to see if the combination works better than DHEA alone.
