New hope for faster healing of Flesh-Eating bacteria wounds

Summary
This study is testing whether a 2-4 week course of the antibiotic telacebec can completely heal Buruli ulcer skin lesions within one year, without needing surgery. The trial will enroll 140 adults with confirmed Buruli ulcer infections. Participants will take the medication and be followed closely for 52 weeks to see if their wounds heal and stay healed.
