First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study looks at whether using a patient's own skin cells (grown from a small sample) plus a special biological dressing can help second-degree burn wounds heal faster and with less scarring. About 386 people will take part, and their results will be compared to those getting standard care. The goal is to see if this combination treatment improves healing time and scar quality.
