Smart computer vs. standard formula: which saves more burn patients?
NCT ID NCT07307599
Summary
This study aims to find the best way to give IV fluids to adults with severe burns covering 20% or more of their body. It will compare a new computer-guided system (Burn Navigator™) that adjusts fluids hour-by-hour to the standard Parkland formula. The goal is to give the right amount of fluid to prevent shock and serious complications like organ failure.
