New burn cream aims to speed healing, reduce scars
NCT ID NCT01297400
Summary
This study is testing if a new topical cream called MW-III helps burns heal faster and better than the standard treatment, Silvadene. It will involve 60 adults with partial-thickness thermal burns. Researchers will measure how quickly the burns heal, if skin grafts are needed, and how much scarring occurs.
