Quick online session boosts emotion control in young adults

Summary
This study tested a one-time online program called Project WAVE that teaches mindfulness and emotion exposure skills to help young adults (ages 18-29) cope with distressing emotions. 550 participants completed the program or a control activity. The goal was to see if the intervention reduces negative beliefs about emotions and improves the ability to observe feelings without reacting.
