Tape vs. splint: which heals broken hands better?
NCT ID NCT06734364
Summary
This study compares two common ways to treat broken hand bones (excluding the thumb). Researchers want to see if using simple buddy tape works as well as a rigid splint for helping people regain hand strength and function. About 96 adults with these specific fractures will be randomly assigned to use either tape or a splint and followed for 90 days to measure their recovery.
