Summary
This study tested whether a special diet based on tartary buckwheat could help lower high blood pressure in adults. Researchers compared the diet to standard lifestyle advice in 130 participants to see if it worked and was safe. They also wanted to understand if the diet helped by restoring a healthy balance of gut bacteria.
