First seen Jun 08, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 08, 2026
Summary
This study tested whether giving midazolam in the mouth (buccal) works better than a shot (intramuscular) to stop seizures in children aged 6 months to 12 years. 90 children with seizures took part, and the main goal was to see if seizures stopped within 5 minutes. The results help doctors choose the best way to give this emergency medicine.
