NCT ID NCT06840730

First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study looked at whether Botox injections can reduce pain in people with jaw muscle spasms that didn't get better with standard care. 25 adults received Botox in their jaw muscles, and researchers measured pain, jaw movement, and levels of pain-related substances in blood and saliva before and after treatment. The goal was to see if Botox helps and if changes in body chemicals explain the pain relief.
