New program aims to stop accidental fentanyl deaths
NCT ID NCT07219082
Summary
This study tests whether a brief education program can reduce overdose risk for people who use stimulants like cocaine or methamphetamine. The program teaches about the dangers of fentanyl, which is sometimes mixed into other drugs without users' knowledge. Researchers will compare the education program to a basic attention-control session to see which better prevents overdoses.
