Could teeth grinding affect your breathing and balance?
NCT ID NCT07294833
Summary
This study aimed to understand if people who grind or clench their teeth (bruxism) have differences in their breathing function, breathing muscle strength, balance, and sleep quality compared to people without bruxism. Researchers measured these factors in 34 adults with bruxism and a matched group of healthy adults. The goal was to gather new information about how bruxism might affect the body beyond just the jaw.
