Doctors look back: how a tiny camera helps sick newborns breathe

NCT ID NCT07211971

Summary

This study looks back over 10 years of medical records to understand how often and why doctors use a tiny camera called a bronchoscope to look inside the airways of newborns in intensive care. It aims to see how helpful this procedure is for finding the cause of breathing difficulties and guiding treatment. The study is reviewing data from about 100 newborns who had the procedure at one hospital.
