New lung implant aims to release trapped air in emphysema patients

Summary
This study tests a new implant placed in the lungs through a scope to release trapped air in people with severe emphysema or COPD. Up to 30 participants will receive up to two procedures, with follow-up for one year. The main goals are to check if the implant is safe and if it helps improve breathing and lung function.
