Researchers track why some bronchiectasis patients fare worse during Flare-Ups
NCT ID NCT07346625
Summary
This study aims to understand why some people with bronchiectasis have worse outcomes during sudden symptom flare-ups. Researchers will observe 100 adult patients hospitalized for a flare-up to see if having other conditions like COPD, diabetes, or heart disease leads to longer hospital stays or more complications. The goal is to gather information that helps doctors better predict risks and care for patients during these episodes.
