Surgery or cast? trial seeks best fix for elderly elbow breaks
NCT ID NCT07400692
Summary
This study aims to find the better treatment for a specific type of broken elbow in older adults who don't use their arms heavily. It randomly assigns 84 patients to either have surgery or receive non-surgical care like a cast or sling. Researchers will compare how well each group recovers by measuring elbow pain, function, and daily life impact over time.
