Summary
This study tested whether taking broccoli powder for two weeks could help the body handle stress and recover better after a tough workout. Seventeen healthy young men took either broccoli powder or a spinach placebo and then performed an exhausting cycling test. Researchers measured markers of muscle stress, fatigue, and recovery to see if the broccoli supplement made a difference.
