Broccoli vs. bladder cancer: can your diet stop it from coming back?

NCT ID NCT07391137

Summary

This study is testing whether a diet high in cruciferous vegetables like broccoli, cauliflower, and cabbage can help prevent bladder cancer from returning. It involves 250 patients who have been treated for non-muscle invasive bladder cancer. One group will follow a specific diet eating at least one cup of these vegetables daily for six months, while the other group receives standard care without a special diet, to see which approach better prevents recurrence.
