NCT ID NCT07431476

First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tested a gel containing brimonidine to see if it can reduce persistent facial redness in people with rosacea. In the first part, 45 adults applied the gel to one side of their face and a placebo to the other, measuring redness after a few hours. In the second part, they used the gel on both sides daily for one month. Redness was measured with a skin color device, magnified images, and patient reports.
