Summary
This study tests a program called BRIDGE that helps parents of young children in the intensive care unit (ICU) make difficult medical decisions. The program focuses on improving communication with the healthcare team and preparing parents for these choices. About 495 parents will take surveys and some will be interviewed over a year to see if the program reduces regret and improves decision-making.
