Summary
This study tested the safety and how the body processes brexanolone, an intravenous medication, in teenage mothers with postpartum depression. It involved 28 adolescent female participants who were within 6 months of giving birth. The goal was to gather information to see if this treatment could be a helpful option for this younger age group.
