New breathing exercises aim to help stroke patients get off ventilators faster
NCT ID NCT07003867
Summary
This study tested two different methods to help stroke patients on breathing machines strengthen their breathing muscles. Researchers compared adjusting the ventilator's sensitivity to using a special handheld breathing trainer. The goal was to see which method better improved lung function and helped patients breathe on their own sooner.
