Can stronger breathing muscles ease sleep apnea?
NCT ID NCT07469280
Summary
This study aims to see if a 12-week daily breathing exercise program can help adults with severe obesity and obstructive sleep apnea. Ten participants will use a special breathing device to strengthen their breathing muscles, with the hope of reducing sleep apnea events and improving sleep quality. The research will carefully track changes in sleep patterns, daytime sleepiness, and breathing strength to see if this training is a feasible and helpful approach.
