Can controlled breathing sessions arm the body against future harm?
NCT ID NCT07018895
Summary
This study tested a personalized breathing training method to see if it could help protect the organs of healthy older adults. Twenty volunteers aged 60-74 were split into two groups. One group received sessions alternating between low-oxygen and high-oxygen air, tailored to their brain's oxygen levels, while the other group breathed normal air as a comparison.
