Can simple breathing exercises calm your heartburn?
NCT ID NCT07179250
Summary
This study is testing whether two types of breathing training can help reduce symptoms of acid reflux disease (GERD) in adults. Researchers will compare a device-guided breathing exercise, a diaphragmatic breathing exercise, and standard care to see if these non-drug methods are effective. Participants will do their assigned breathing exercises twice daily for six weeks and have their symptoms and esophageal function measured.
