Can simple breathing exercises help frail seniors walk farther and breathe easier?

NCT ID NCT07328334

Summary

This study is testing whether a simple, 8-week breathing muscle training program can help frail adults aged 80 and older. Participants will be randomly assigned to either a real training group or a very light 'sham' training group, using a handheld device for a few minutes each day. The main goal is to see if this training improves breathing muscle strength and helps with daily activities like walking and standing up from a chair.
