Footballers try breathing workouts to boost performance
NCT ID NCT07246655
Summary
This study tested whether adding special high-intensity breathing exercises to regular training could improve football players' breathing strength, balance, and core endurance. For 8 weeks, half of the 24 male players did these breathing workouts three times a week, while the other half stuck to their normal routines. Researchers measured their breathing power, balance, core strength, and some football-specific skills before and after to see if the extra training helped.
