Can simple breathing exercises fight ALS decline?
NCT ID NCT07413718
Summary
This study is testing whether a specific breathing exercise program can help people with ALS maintain their lung muscle strength for longer. 44 participants will be randomly assigned to either use a real training device or a placebo device for 12 weeks. Researchers will measure breathing strength and quality of life to see if the training helps slow respiratory decline.
