First seen Feb 14, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a 4-week breathing muscle training program could improve physical performance and shooting accuracy in 20 elite male air pistol athletes. Half did the breathing training, half did not. The results showed that the breathing training helped athletes jump higher and shoot more accurately, but did not change their reaction time or flexibility.
