First seen Feb 14, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a four-week breathing muscle training program could help elite air pistol athletes jump higher and shoot more accurately. Twenty male athletes were split into two groups: one did the breathing training, the other did not. The results showed that the breathing training improved leg power and shooting accuracy, but did not change reaction time or flexibility.
