New breathing exercise tested to speed recovery after lung transplant
NCT ID NCT06963190
Summary
This study tests two different breathing muscle training methods to help patients recover after a lung transplant. Researchers will compare a standard constant-resistance training against a newer variable-resistance method to see which better improves breathing strength and walking ability. The trial involves 42 recent lung transplant patients and follows them for six months after their surgery.
