Could simple breathing exercises help heart failure patients walk farther?
NCT ID NCT05223751
Summary
This study tested whether a breathing training program could help people with heart failure walk farther and feel better. 65 participants with reduced heart function were randomly assigned to either receive standard care or use a smartphone app for guided breathing exercises. Researchers measured how far people could walk in 6 minutes and tracked their quality of life over 6 months to see if the breathing therapy made a difference.
